As a key member of the pricing team, the Pricing Manager plays a critical role in contributing to the company’s financial performance. • Self-starter who is strong at leading and working with people across different functions.

The area Field Marketing teams are responsible for being the "eyes and ears" of the field. It is their responsibility to understand vertical and technology trends, opportunities and challenges within the area as well as the competitive environment.

The Marketing Manager on the team replicates this same set of responsibilities for selected campaigns. It is anticipated that each MM has a minimum of 2 campaigns. They will often serve as a field expert for the corporate teams who are responsible for delivering the solution/program for the theatre. Their input ensures that correct assumptions are made about customers, local markets, channel competencies and sales readiness. Upon delivery of the corporate solution and program, the MM develops an area specific campaign marketing plan. This includes, but is not limited to: account targeting, customer list refinement, partner (DVAR, two tier, SA, SP and application) targets and an integrated area marcom plan. The latter should be an extension of the theatre deliverable.

While the most visible product of the MMs work is the marcom (collateral, events, tradeshows, webinars, web sites, demand gen, etc.), it is the thorough understanding of the market intelligence and the ability to convert that data into actionable intelligence that drives results.

Requirements:

BA in Marketing or equivalent. Marketing Manager must have a solid track record in marketing or product management. The job requires a minimum of 5-10 years direct experience. The individual must have excellent leadership, communication and collaboration skills. Develop campaign specific integrated marketing plans based on area objectives and strategy that accelerate moving the Enterprise customer through the purchase cycle. This includes market segmentation, target audience, solution roadmap (solution, services, etc.) routes-to-market, sales/partner enablement, marketing communications. Include plans that optimize marketing to Segment One, Premier and Select. Partner with Commercial to leverage within Select. Conduct market assessments aligned with area business strategies. Identify market opportunities through internal and external market intelligence. Align and collaborate with the Central Marketing Organization in the up front solution/program development and overall messaging, solution components and theatre marcom strategy. Collaborate with CMO , based on area and field experience and knowledge, to determine the appropriate marketing mix for all outbound marketing communications for both internal and external stakeholders and customers. Understand and leverage local associations in meeting campaign and area goals. Identify local case studies and promote best practice sharing amongst with area teams. Provide business leadership and actively engage with local business leaders and consultants. Leverage and align with cross-functional area teams to effectively execute and communicate an integrated plan. This includes: CA, SA, AT, Cisco Capital, Channels, etc. Deliver or arrange for the delivery of sales enablement tools and training. Execute marketing plans and go-to-market strategies in the area, providing leadership to contract resources. Perform required area internal communications to promote and educate team on area initiatives and marketing plans (e.g., area web sites, localized communications strategies, calendars, etc.) As requested, provide process leadership and thought leadership within areas of expertise forming strong alliances for sharing with Marketing Managers from other areas.
